Khao Soi Paste
We bring you our classic Northern Thai Khao Soi paste straight from the streets of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Enjoy the real taste of making a curry filled with our blend of rich, flavourful spices and aromatics at home.
Ingredients: Red chilli, Onion, Garlic, Lemongrass, Coriander, Fennel, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Turmeric, White pepper, Palm oil, salt, Shrimp paste
Recipe suggestion (Makes 4 hungry portions):
- Fry 100g of Khao Soi paste with 1kg of chicken drumsticks (or with your favourite meat) for 20 minutes in a pot.
- Add 500ml of coconut milk and 1.5L of water. Bring to boil, then stew the meat until tender (30 mins - 1hr).
- Season as needed with salt and sugar.
- Serve with flat egg noodles. Garnish with deep fried egg noodles, chopped cilantro and green onion. Condiments: lime, diced shallots, diced sour pickled mustard greens, fried chilli flakes.
