Haute Goat Farm is a breathtaking 200-acre farm located just outside historic Port Hope where you can discover the magic of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Huacaya Alpacas, Exotic Chickens, Icelandic Horses, Tornjak Livestock Guardian Dogs and our big, silly mule named "Lucy Mae". In 2014 we opened the farm to visitors and started doing our signature Haute Goat Shmurgle. We 'release' the goats with a resounding call, then hike with them around the farm. Because visitors were so keen to be in the country and connect with animals, we added our Alpaca Knuffle Shuffle and other animal experiences to the list of what people could do at Haute Goat. Although we had been serving food to guests in our house, when demand grew we built a Cafe and started serving meals that focused on seasonal and local items. Our vegetable garden provided many of those items while in season. Owners Debbie Nightingale and Shain Jaffe are ex-pats from Toronto who came to their senses and realized that they wanted was to live in the country. 13 years and 200 baby goats later, they have never looked back and love to introduce their farm and animals to all who want to visit.
