Canadian Ingredient: Cacao nibs and shells (Toronto, Ontario)
This smooth chocolate peppermint rooibos tea is lovingly blended with freshly roasted cacao shells from Chocosol - a direct trade bean -- to -- bar chocolate maker located in Toronto. Soothing, decadent, and caffeine -- free, this infusion is a perfect (and guilt -- free!) any time of day indulgence.
Traditional Preparation: Measure 1 tsp of loose tea and add to a tea filter or strainer (or use one tea bag). Steep in 8-12 oz freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Delicious on its own, or lightly sweetened. Enjoy!
Hot Latte Recipe: Measure 1 tsp of loose tea and add to a tea filter or strainer (or use one tea bag). Steep in 4-6 oz freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Add hot steamed milk of your choice. (Dairy, nut, oat, etc) Leave the bag in for a stronger brew if desired.
Iced Chocolate Milk Tea Recipe: Steep 2 tsp (or two tea bags) of this tea in 6oz freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. At this point you can chill the tea in the freezer for 10 minutes (remove tea leaves or tea bags first) or pour into a glass over ice slowly. (The ice will partially dissolve) Add chilled milk of your choice and enjoy! Delicious with a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

At Pluck, we make delicious teas each day in our very own production facility. We take great care to source fresh, high quality ingredients for our teas directly from farmers and producers that we know and trust.
The first Pluck teas were blended with dried fruits and flowers purchased from farmers at a local market in Toronto. From day one, our company committed to sustainable and ethical sourcing as our Tea for Good promise to our customers.
As we have grown, this commitment has never wavered. We are very proud of our supply chain, and the incredible people behind the teas we make.
While the tea plant itself (camellia sinensis) does not grow in Canada, several ingredients that we use in our tea blends are sourced right here in our own back yard.
Some examples of Canadian ingredients include:
Citrus peel, dried and upcycled from our friends at Chaser's Juice
Lavender from the sun drenched fields of the Prince Edward County Lavender farm
Cacao shells left over from our bean to bar friends at Chocosol
Cranberries sourced and dried in Nova Scotia
Ginseng from an Ontario ginseng farm
