Soups & Broths

Bo & Marrow in Alberta simmers its bone broths slowly until they turn rich and collagen heavy, while It's Souper, founded by Lola Adeyemi in Toronto, makes Afro-fusion soups, chili and stews in small batches. Together they fill the fridge with something warm for a cool evening, from a mug of broth to a Meat Lovers Chili ladled over baked potatoes.

Not every broth here is from Ontario, and we won't pretend it is. Use the broths as the base for soups, braises and grains, or heat a soup for an easy lunch. The range shifts as producers bring in new batches, so it is a good place to gather ingredients for the week.
