Haskap is the berry of the blue honeysuckle, a plant from northern Japan and Siberia that Canadian berry farmers now grow. Its flavour sits somewhere between blueberry, grape and raspberry. Spoon the compote over yogurt, pancakes or cheesecake, or serve it with a mild goat cheese.
