Hunnabees is the Millbrook, Ontario farm of Dave and Keri Nicolaou, who keep about 200 colonies on 100 acres of native meadow and mixed forage. Their wildflower honey is a mid-summer harvest, light and golden with a sweet, familiar floral taste that shifts a little from year to year.
Stir it into tea, drizzle it over yogurt and fresh fruit, or whisk it into a simple vinaigrette for a summer salad.
