Spade & Spoon is a family farm in Trent Hills, Northumberland County, run by Blythe Weber and Adam Smith, who make their preserves in small batches with pots and spoons, and gather herbs and fruit from close to home.

Ontario blueberries and a pinch of Ontario thyme give this jam subtle herbal notes. It belongs on a cheeseboard, and it is just as good on breakfast toast, spooned over ricotta, or warmed as a glaze for roast chicken.
