The Artisan Gold is a rare, slow-growing heritage breed with roots in the Landes region of France, small in size with a robust, hearty taste. New for 2026, the MiniClassic gives the same pasture-raised flavour in a smaller bird that fits a standard oven and a smaller table. Both are raised outdoors on pasture and fed non-GMO feed, so gather the family and bring something special to the table.
A $75 deposit reserves your bird, with fresh delivery on October 8 or 9. The balance is invoiced before delivery at $9.85 per lb for Artisan Gold (11 to 14 lb or 15 to 21 lb) or $8.45 per lb for MiniClassic (11 to 14 lb or 18 to 21 lb). Because of the breed there may be a few pin feathers on the skin. Pull them with tweezers, or skip it, as roasting takes care of them.
