Astrid Manske and Dave Moffat of OtonaBEE Apiary in Indian River, Ontario began with a few hives and now keep about 1,000, spread across 45 locations in the fields, forests and wetlands of Peterborough County with the goodwill of local farmers and landowners. Their honey is exactly as the bees make it, never pasteurized or processed.
This creamed clover honey is a golden Ontario honey that spreads easily. Spread it on toast, scones or warm biscuits, or stir it into oatmeal and tea.
