Cross Wind Farm is a family-run goat dairy in Keene, Ontario, about 15 minutes east of Peterborough, run by Kevin and Cindy. They rebuilt an 1800s barn, welcomed their first does in 2007, and were the first in Canada to offer on-farm fluid goat milk in small batches. Goat milk was the first product they launched.
The milk is pasteurized in small batches within hours of milking, and it is not homogenized: nothing added, nothing lost. Pour it over granola, froth it into a latte or use it in fall puddings and baking.
