Jess and Graham, lifelong friends and business partners, opened Hard Winter Bakery in 2014 in Peterborough's East City neighbourhood. Every loaf is 100% sourdough, built on their in-house starter and a slow 24 hour ferment.

Potato Cheddar is a pan-style white sourdough loaf with aged cheddar and whole chunks of potato baked right in, soft and savoury all the way through. Toast it under a fried egg, turn it into the ultimate grilled cheese, or serve a warm slice with a bowl of fall soup.
