The Sparrow’s Keep

The Sparrow’s Keep is a small-scale farm dedicated to growing fresh, flavourful vegetables using sustainable, soil-focused farming practices.
Founded in 2016 by Aden Spurr (who was a glassblower in a previous life), The Sparrow’s Keep has expanded from a small farm market garden to a thriving operation supplying CSA members, local customers, restaurants, and chefs. The farm emphasizes no-till and low-till growing methods that promote healthy soil, biodiversity, and long-term environmental sustainability.
Working alongside Aden is Sarah Reed, whose background in environmental education and regenerative agriculture helps guide the farm’s commitment to responsible land stewardship. Together, they grow a diverse selection of vegetables, herbs, and seasonal products with care and attention to quality. Every harvest reflects their dedication to sustainable farming, local food systems, and providing the community with exceptional farm-fresh ingredients.
