Kendal Hills Farm is a 70 acre family farm near Orono, where Dave and Emily raise their chickens on pasture. The birds spend their days out on grass, grazing on grubs and insects, and roost in the evenings. They are fed non-GMO, non-medicated feed, and the farm raises them under the Chicken Farmers of Ontario Artisanal Chicken Program, which lets small farms raise birds to a higher standard.
One boneless, skinless breast per pack, cut from white rock birds raised on pasture. Slice it thin for stir fries, pound it out for schnitzel, or poach it for salads and sandwiches. A lean cut that does best over gentle heat.
