Carolina's Colombia is run by Ralf Pohlak, a native of Ontario, and Carolina Orduz, who grew up in Bucaramanga. They bring in coffee from Silveria, the family farm named for Carolina's grandmother, where the trees grow on steep, shaded slopes and the cherries are picked by hand.
The espresso roast is a special roast made for their 100% Colombian arabicas. Pull it as a shot, build a latte or cappuccino on it, or brew it in a moka pot for a strong cup at home.
