Spade & Spoon began in 2008 as a vegetable patch on a family farm in Trent Hills, Ontario, and grew into the small-batch preserving of Blythe Weber and Adam Smith, sold at markets since 2009.

Ontario pears with a touch of fresh ginger make one of the farm's longest running jams. Try it on toast or yogurt, as a glaze on roast pork, or as a topper for brie and crackers when the fall pears come in.
