Mad Mexican began in 2006, when Jose Hadad started selling guacamole, salsa and chips at Toronto's St. Lawrence Market. Today the company has a production facility in Scarborough and a restaurant in Baby Point, and this chili oil is part of that Toronto story.

Pasilla chilies are known for rich flavours of raisins and chocolate, with more depth than heat. Drizzle the oil over fish, chicken, enchiladas, tacos and roasted vegetables. Gather a bottle for the home table.
