Field's Farmstead

Field’s Farmstead is a small regenerative farm run by JP Field and his wife Cheslee, rooted in a deep commitment to nature, community, and responsibly grown food. Located in Cavan Ontario, the farm was established in 2020 when JP’s family purchased the land.

JP’s journey into farming began far from rural Canada. Born in Argentina and raised between Buenos Aires, the United States, and Canada, he discovered a passion for ecological living through travel, outdoor work, and hands-on farming experiences. After studying philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz, JP explored small-scale agriculture through WWOOFing and later earned his Permaculture Design Certificate in 2013. His studies in permaculture shaped his belief that farming can create a positive, mutually beneficial relationship between people and the natural world.

Field’s Farmstead is dedicated to providing fresh, responsibly grown food while fostering a welcoming and down-to-earth farm community.
