Crimson Crisp is a relatively new variety of apple, a cross between Jonathan, Rome, and Golden Delicious. It has dark red skin, stores well, and is very crisp! Great for eating out of hand, the flavour is a complex mix of sweet and tart, it also holds up well to baking and cooking.
