Eggs, Chicken (One Dozen Heritage, organic)

All of our chickens are raised outside on pasture and in the orchard.
Our laying hens are a mix of heritage varieties.

At the moment (November 2024) all of our hens are laying brown eggs.  We are waiting for the other breeds of chickens to mature and start laying the multi-coloured eggs that you know and love!  But don't judge an eggs by its shell, it's how the birds live and what they eat that produce the high quality eggs!!

In addition to plants, insects & mice (yes, you read that right - chickens are carnivores) they eat certified organic grains.

Yes, we wash our eggs before packaging them for you.
