Kendal Hills Farm is a 70 acre family farm near Orono, where Dave and Emily raise their chickens on pasture. The birds spend their days out on grass, grazing on grubs and insects, and roost in the evenings. They are fed non-GMO, non-medicated feed, and the farm raises them under the Chicken Farmers of Ontario Artisanal Chicken Program.
For all of your stock and bone broth needs. Each bag holds two carcasses, about 3 lb in all. Roast them first for a darker, deeper stock, then let the pot simmer on the back burner for soups, risotto and ramen.
