Jewels Under the Kilt is a women-owned maple roasted nut company from a farm outside Fergus, Ontario. Founder and Chief Roaster Elisabeth Burrow began roasting nuts in maple syrup after family gifts of syrup got her experimenting, and the recipes use locally sourced ingredients.
Pecans roasted with dark maple syrup, with the taste of pancakes on a snowy morning. Sprinkle them over oatmeal, or graze on a handful with a mug of coffee.
