By pre-ordering a bag of Bellanita potatoes, you're letting us know how many to order from the farm. Once we have the potatoes onsite, we will send them with your next delivery!

Bellanita Fingerling potatoes are an early season variety with a yellow skin and flesh. They are finger-like in shape, hence the name, and are known for their consistent size and shape tubers and high yields. Bellanita Fingerlings were developed by Parkland Seed Potatoes in Alberta, and are ready for harvest in Ontario in late summer.

Bellanita Fingerling potatoes are known for making salads and for boiling as they have a firm flesh that holds its shape when heated. Potatoes purchased in supermarkets are often treated with chemicals to prevent sprouting (or “eyes”). These potatoes have been harvested in the Fall and are NOT chemically treated and are considered to be alive. When properly stored, sprout growth is minimal, but if sprouting happens, simply remove them and cook as usual! Potatoes that are not stored in a dark, 7-8 degree Celsius place are best enjoyed within 2 weeks.
