'Queen Anne' potatoes are long, large, and oval in shape with smooth yellow skin and firm, yellow flesh. This variety is excellent for mashing, frying, and roasting.

'Queen Anne' potatoes are the result of a cross between '99-002-14' and 'Gala' varieties. It was bred by Tarsten Spill of Saka Pflanzenzucht GmbH & Co in Hamburg, (Windeby, SH) Germany in 2005. It was released to the Canadian market in June 2020.
