Kozlik's Canadian Mustard has been family owned and operated in Toronto since 1948, making hand-made mustard in small batches, and its shop is at the St. Lawrence Market. The same kitchen makes a short line of rubs.
This steak rub takes the guesswork out of seasoning, with black pepper, mustard seed, sea salt, garlic, coriander, cloves and oregano. Press it onto a steak before searing or grilling, or use it on burgers and roasted mushrooms.
