Each bag contains the flavour and power of ONE POUND of fresh mushrooms. These can be substituted into any recipe calling for fresh mushrooms, just by soaking in water until they've rehydrated. For maximum flavour, use both the mushrooms & the water in your dish. This is why we like them for soups and risottos.
