Taste: Butternut squash has a natural sweet, nutty, earthy taste with a similar texture to sweet potatoes, just a bit softer.
Preparation: We love enjoying butternut squash diced up, topped with some of our favourite seasonings (olive oil, cinnamon, and rosemary go great with this fall squash) and roasted in the oven.
Storage: Butternut squash can be stored in a pantry at room temperature or in a refrigerator. The squash has a storage life of approximately 6 weeks.
