Leeks are crunchy and firm, and can be enjoyed raw or cooked. You can enjoy both the white/light green ends of a leek, as well as the leafy dark green; though many prefer the lighter section. Leeks are a great addition to soups and stews to add a mild, but sweet onion taste.
