Parsnips may resemble carrots in appearance - they're both long, tapered root veggies - but a parsnip doesn't actually taste too much like a carrot! They are much sweeter (similar to sweet potatoes) and have a natural, earthy flavour.
You can enjoy parsnips by roasting them in the oven, and topping with oil and salt
