A muscle cut from the hip, the sirloin makes a wonderful, tender oven roast. Try rubbing your favourite seasoning, some coarse salt and fresh ground pepper on your sirloin tip roast to give an extra boost of flavour.
Whip up a butter and seasoning mix and spread on top of your roast, sear in the oven for about 15 min at 450 degrees then cover and reduce the heat to 325. Cook until about 10 degrees below desired doneness. Remove from oven, let it sit still covered for about 15 minutes. Then slice, serve and enjoy! Option to add veggies around your roast to make a one pot meal!
