Made with Local began as a farmers' market table in Nova Scotia in 2012, when founder Sheena Russell sold a few dozen bars to her neighbours. Every bar and cookie starts with a base of organic oats grown on the Canadian prairies and is built around nut butters, honey and fruit from named Canadian farmers, with no palm oil and no sugar alcohols.

Peanut Butter Blondie is the classic: creamy peanut butter, dark chocolate and pumpkin seeds on an oat base with a pinch of sea salt, a favourite since the farmers' market days. Slip one in the bag for a hike or a long school day.
