Made with Local began as a farmers' market table in Nova Scotia in 2012, when founder Sheena Russell sold a few dozen bars to her neighbours. Every bar and cookie starts with a base of organic oats grown on the Canadian prairies and is built around nut butters, honey and fruit from named Canadian farmers, with no palm oil and no sugar alcohols.

A bar for the chocolate fanatics: organic cocoa and chunks of organic dark chocolate in a base of creamy peanut butter and honey, finished with a generous pinch of sea salt. It tastes decadent and travels well in a coat pocket.
