M-C Dairy is a Toronto-area dairy with roots going back to 1905. This sweet butter is made from organic, grass-fed Jersey cream, tempered for 48 hours for a smooth texture, then barrel churned in small batches. The fresh butter is rolled and folded to remove excess moisture, the way butter was made a century ago.
Smooth, sweet and creamy, it is the butter for cookies, pie crusts and stuffing, or for rubbing under the skin of a holiday turkey. Gather a few blocks for the baking season.
