Rikea potatoes are oval in shape and have white-to-yellow smooth skin and yellow flesh. They are a firm, multi-purpose potato that is great for salads. They have medium-high dry matter, are low in starch, and are not good for fries or chips.
This cultivar originates from Germany from breeder Wold Lange, and is the result of a cross between the 'Ukama' and 'Isabell' cultivars.
