Jacob's Cattle beans are an heirloom variety of bean that are plump, oblong with white and dark specks. They have a rich, nutty and fruity flavour, and their shape holds up well during cooking. Best for soups and stews, these lovely beans are also known as Trout or Appaloosa beans. 

These beans are grown alongside Lunar's Quincy Pinto beans, and once harvested, they are dried together and then manually sorted by hand - you may find some pinto beans in your bag!
