Spanish Onion is mildly sharp with a pleasant, crisp crunch and subtle sweetness that becomes richer as it cooks - this versatile flavour makes it ideal for both raw and cooked uses. Slice it thinly into salads and sandwiches, grill it alongside vegetables, or roast it until caramelized. It also works well sliced into rings and pickled, it works well with a variety of sweet, spicy or savoury brines.
These are FRESH onions, which means they have not been cured for cellar storage. Keep them in your fridge, and use them within a week or two!
