Killarney Red is a Rocambole variety of garlic, similar to the German Red and Spanish Roja varieties.It is a large colourful bulb with dark tan cloves, strong heat when compared to other Rocambole varieties, and strong flavours when cooked. The bulbs are larger, averaging close to 2" across and yielding on approximately 8-9 cloves per bulb. Vendor Information Marchand and Corin of Garlicloves began planting garlic in 2012 with only one dozen Ontario bulbs. They spent the next several years collecting varieties and keeping meticulous data on each one.
