Roko potatoes are oval in shape with smooth, deep red skin and white flesh. They have a floury consistency when cooked, with moderate dry matter. 

This cultivar was bred by Niederösterreichische Saatbaugenossenschaft from Windigsteig, Austria, in 1988 in Meires, Austria.
