Campagna potatoes are long tubers with light russetted skin and a creamy flesh. It compares to the Goldrush potato varitey, and the Peribonka variety is a parent cultivar.
This potato variety was created by Pierre Turcotte at the Centre de recherche des Buissons in 2022 at Pointe-aux-Outardes, Quebec. The seed is from La Patate lac st. Jean.
