We started growing asparagus in 1982. My wife Claudia canned and pickled our produce for our own consumption. My sons and I just loved her recipe for pickled asparagus and you just can’t keep something like that all to yourself. We gave some to our friends as gifts. Of course, they just kept asking for more… and our business sprouted nicely from there.
With the help of our sons — Josh, Ben and Adrian — and Claudia’s wonderful creativity in the kitchen, we now offer 26 types of pickles. Half are certified organic. We do not use preservatives, fillers or additives. All the vegetables are processed right away, fresh from our fields. You can taste the sunshine in them.
